Labels and packaging for San Francisco product makers

Labels, packaging and shelf presence for small product makers in San Francisco and around the Bay Area, designed remotely.

San Francisco makers

San Francisco has a dense mix of small food, drink and goods makers selling through farmers markets, independent grocers, corner stores, cafes and gift shops. Shelf space in small city shops is tight, and a product often gets one or two facings. The label has to identify the brand and the variant in a narrow strip, so we design front panels that read at the width a single jar or bar actually gets.

Cool, foggy mornings at outdoor markets and cold items moved in and out of chillers mean condensation on jars and bottles. Film labels and water-resistant inks help there. Customers in the city speak many languages, and some makers add a second language to the label or the stall sign; we plan the space for it using translations you provide.

How a San Francisco project runs

  1. You send photos of your product, your container sizes and the text that has to go on the label.
  2. We reply with questions or a written quote that lists the labels, formats and review rounds.
  3. You see two or three label directions on your real container shape and pick one.
  4. We refine it, build the variant set and send print-ready files to you or your label printer.

The work runs by email, shared folders and video calls booked in Pacific time. We don't have an office in San Francisco. If you want to check a label on the real jar before a full run, ask your printer for a short proof run, or print a test at home and wrap it around the container; we can set up a file for that.

What you can order

Questions

What time zone do you use for San Francisco clients?

We book calls in Pacific time. Files, proofs and feedback go by email and shared folders.

Can you prepare a sell sheet for the shops I pitch?

Yes. A one-page sell sheet in your brand look, with sizes, case packs and how to order, is part of the market and shelf kit.

Ask for a quote

Cost depends on how many products and variants you have, how many container sizes, whether you need a logo cleanup first, and how many review rounds you want. Every job gets a written quote before work starts.
