Process

How a label project works

Brief, directions on your real container, refinement, then print-ready files and templates. You sign off at each stage.

1. Brief and quote

You send photos of your product, the containers you use, your variant list and the label text you have. We ask about anything missing, such as the label printer or the stock, then send a written quote with the scope, the review rounds and a delivery date. Nothing starts until you accept it.

2. Directions on your container

We send two or three directions, each drawn on your real container shape and shown as a line-up of two or three variants. Every direction gets the squint test before you see it. You pick one, or ask us to combine parts of two.

3. Refinement and the full set

We develop the chosen direction, lay out the back panel with your text and build every variant. You mark up what needs changing: a warmer cap color, a bigger flavor name, a different word on the front. If your printer offers a proof, this is the time to request one and check it on the jar.

4. Final files and templates

We deliver print-ready files for each label, the color list with print values, and editable templates for future variants. Extra review rounds beyond the quote are priced before we do them.

Working with your printer

Label printers each have their own rules for bleed, cut lines, roll direction and white ink on clear film. Send us the spec sheet, or let us ask them directly with your permission. Files set up to their rules go to press faster and with fewer surprises.

Your files

Recipes, label text and product photos you send are used only for your project. If part of the work goes to a production partner, they work under a confidentiality agreement. See the privacy policy.
